Bisexual erasure is still very much a problem on both fronts. As a bisexual married to the opposite gender, there were times I almost convinced myself that I wasn't actually queer. Over the last five years, I've become much more comfortable with knowing I'm queer and belong in the community as much as everyone else. It was very healing and freeing to realize that no one else's opinion was needed to justify that.
