Getting married was a really big thing. So my wife and I eloped... We went to Glastonbury to be legally handfasted. And that was just a beautiful, wonderful, incredibly affirming moment of being surrounded by people who loved us. It was us, two of our best friends, and then the priestesses who were there. And a year later... we had a big party, and that was also really wonderful. You know, walking down the stairs as a legally married couple to our friends and family, and being surrounded by love... And having that moment of being seen and being honoured... And, bear in mind that I’ve lived through a time when we couldn’t get married. But to now be able to get married and then to have gotten married to a woman is like... Wow, that’s pretty amazing.
